Plate Products

We utilize high-tech computer design and production equipment. We are NOT brokering your supply needs. Some of the more common products may be in stock at the time of your request, or we will fabricate it to your specification. We currently hold Canadian Registration Numbers for this product.

Figure 8 Blind

Available in a large variety of material grades. Offered in raised face construction (machined flat to center). Female Ring Type Joint construction (manufactured with RTJ groove machined into the face of the figure 8), and also offered in Male Ring Type Joint construction (manufactured to fit inside the female RTJ groove like a RTJ seal ring). We manufacture these products in accordance with ASME B16.48 (1⁄2″ though 24″) and ASME B16.47 series A & B (26″ and above) dimensions but can also be made to special dimensions upon request. Please provide us with material grade, line size, pressure class and type of construction during inquiry. We currently hold Canadian Registration Numbers for this product.

Paddle Blinds

Shaped like a Ping Pong paddle. They will be small enough on the O.D. (outer diameter) that they can fit between two Flanges, without obstructing the bolt holes. When they are bolted up between the two Flanges, they are a very simple valve, made from plate, that closes off the line. Also offered in raised face construction, Female ring type joint construction, and Male ring type joint construction. Please provide us with material grade, line size, pressure class and type of construction during inquiry. We currently hold Canadian Registration Numbers for this product.

Paddle Type Spacer Rings

Similar to a paddle blind except it has an inside diameter cut to the required specifications. These rings slide between two flanges, small enough on the outside diameter that it does not obstruct the bolt holes and seals against the faces of the two flanges. The inside diameter allows for fluid to flow through as in an open valve. Offered in raised face construction, Female ring type joint construction, and Male ring type joint construction. Please provide us with material grade, line size, pressure class and type of construction during inquiry.

Bleed Rings

Small enough on the O.D. so as not to obstruct the bolt holes, normally either drilled and tapped, or they are drilled and have a socket weld connection, through the O.D. into the I.D. They can bleed product off the line, for samples, or a pressure gauge might be attached to check internal pressure in the line. Bleed rings are also made in a large variety of alloys.

Reinforcing Pads

Used to reinforce weld fittings, 90° degree nozzles, laterals, and branch connections. When a hole is cut out of a line it is weakened and by adding a reinforcement pad you return the weakened area to its original working strength. Reinforcement pads can be made from a large variety materials and dimensions.

Plate Flanges

These are non-standard flanges. Rather than being made from a forging, they are special – perhaps a thinner thickness that would not be available or cost-effective in a forging. This can include a Blind Flange that needs to be thinner, or a Slip-on or Socket Weld Flange, or a Split Flange.

Split Flange

Precision Flange is one of the few manufacturers that make Split-Flanges which can be attached to a pre-existing line. You can put the two halves of the Flange 180 degrees apart, and bolt them in-line.
