Figure 8 Blind
In various metals, available in raised face, which actually has a flat faced surface, RTJ (with female groove cut down into the face of a Figure 8 or Spectacle Blind), or a male RTJ (with a ring groove protruding from the Blind). Let us know the size ( 6”, 20”, 24”, etc.) , and the pressure rating (150#, 300#, up to 2500#).

Paddle Blinds
Shaped like a Ping Pong paddle. They will be small enough on the O.D. (outer diameter) that they can fit between 2 Flanges, without obstructing the bolt holes. When they are bolted up between the 2 Flanges, they are a very simple valve, made from plate, that closes off the line.
Paddle Type Spacer Rings
Looks like a Paddle Blind except that it has a large I.D. (inner diameter) cut into it, like a Slip-on Flange, and the I.D. is cut to required specifications. This ring also goes between 2 Flanges, small enough on the O.D. that it does not obstruct the bolt holes, covers the raised-face portion of the Flange, and the big I.D. that is cut into it allows for fluid to flow through it, as in an open valve.
Bleed Rings
Small enough on the O.D. so as not to obstruct the bolt holes, normally either drilled and tapped, or they are drilled and have a socket weld connection, through the O.D. into the I.D. They can bleed product off the line, for samples, or a pressure gauge might be attached to check internal pressure in the line. Bleed rings are also made in a large variety of alloys.

Reinforcing Pads
Goes on a weld fitting, or it might be on a piece of pipe with a 90 degree nozzle, or on a 45 degree lateral. The reinforcing pad replaces the material that was cut out of the line, which weakens it. This gives you back the reinforcement, to give you the working strength you had before the hole was cut into the line. Can be made from all alloys.

Plate Flanges
These are non-standard flanges. Rather than being made from a forging, they are special - perhaps a thinner thickness that would not be available or cost-effective in a forging. This can include a Blind Flange that needs to be thinner, or a Slip-on or Socket Weld Flange, or a Split Flange.
Split Flange
Precision Flange is one of the few manufacturers that make Split-Flanges which can be attached to a pre-existing line. You can put the two halves of the Flange 180 degrees apart, and bolt them in-line.
Socket Weld Flange
This flange has a bore that goes all the way through it. Then, it has a counter-bore that does not go all the way through. The pipe goes partially through the flange, stops, and is then back-welded.
Slip On Flange
This flange slips over the pipe completely, and then can be welded from the front or back side if necessary.

Series 500
Universal Orifice Plate
This Plate goes into an orifice fitting, or into an RTJ orifice plate holder. It is a special O.D. plate. It does not change O.D. with the pressure rating. It always fits into another device that varies with the pressure rating of the plate.

Series 560 Integral Rtj
Orifice Plate
This is an orifice plate between RTJ (Ring-Tongue-Joint) Flanges. The orifice plate and the ring are integral, one piece, solid steel, metal to metal seal. Therefore you cannot remove it. Used for services where the pressure drop is big and it is being used as a restriction plate, or if it is in some service where you don’t want to take a chance on it’s severe cycling service, allowing the screws that hold the plate in position from coming loose. Therefore, it is all a one-piece construction.

Series 590 Holding Screw
Type Rtj Orifice Plate
Similar to the Integral RTJ Orifice Plate, this plate is held in place by pan head screws. The plate can be removed, in order to put in another plate. Commonly used on larger lines.

Cup Type Restriction
Orifice Plate
This part goes into a Ground Joint Union and they are sealed on the seats of the Ground Joint Union sealing surface - used for restriction. Sold separately or installed into the Union Type Restriction Orifice Plate.
